Does Viagra work for everyone?

Since Viagra has appeared on the market it served to millions of men all around the world. And now as the current market major drug in the erectile dysfunction treatment industry, there is no doubt that Viagra is the most reliable brand these days.

But is Viagra for everyone? Does it work for everyone? The answer is not that simple. Ideally, Viagra works for everyone – for every man having erectile dysfunction. Viagra relaxes the arterial walls specifically in the penis to make the flow of blood smoother to maintain and prolong an erection. It happens only when blood flows and remains in the penile muscle. Many circumstances such as health condition make it difficult – diabetes, brain disorders, old age, bad physical health, psychological problems. Viagra works taking no regard of the reason of the erectile dysfunction, although people with certain conditions will have to take Viagra accordingly. For example, people with HIV will have to consult their doctors because a certain component in HIV drugs alters the effects of the Viagra. On the other hand, men older than 65 years old are not advised to take higher dosage of Viagra. There are also some conditions that may alter or delay the Viagra effects such as eating high fat food, before taking Viagra. The drug’s duration time can be delayed if there are any liver and kidney problems. But otherwise, generally, it works for everyone.

On the other hand, Viagra also doesn’t work for everyone because not every person is recommended to take the drug. Viagra has some side effects that should be taken into account. For some people, these side effects could be as common and simple as a headache. However, for others, they may be severe. For example, men older than 65 years old will have to get a doctor’s advice first if they decided to take Viagra. Men of old age may not be able to handle the severe side effects of Viagra, which includes priapism (prolonged painful erection of the penis, caused by neurological disorders, obstruction of the penile blood vessels, etc), stroke, and hypotension or low blood pressure. As mentioned before, people with HIV may be recommended not to take Viagra because the drug they take prolongs the effects of the erectile dysfunction pill in the blood stream. People with HIV may become more vulnerable to the severe side effects of Viagra. This means the ineffectiveness of Viagra depends on the person using the drug.

However, if a healthy person finds that Viagra is having no effect for his needs, he might need to advise with a health expert to determine the source of the problem. Taking vitamins helps developing good sexual health, which could benefit any Viagra user. If the sexual health of the person is good – besides, of course, for the fact that he has erectile dysfunction – Viagra’s effects will be more indicated and will last longer.

Ideally Viagra works for every man who has erectile dysfunction. However due to many conditions such as diabetes, brain disorders, old age, bad physical health, psychological problems the effects may be different. Viagra works regardless of the cause of the erectile dysfunction, although people with certain conditions will have to take Viagra accordingly.
